'Every day felt like an oral exam to me': Ya Hui on starring in 1st English drama series in 13 years
The actress previously left Mediacorp in February 2023 for a career break.

Local actress Ya Hui will be starring in her first English drama series in 13 years.
In an Instagram post on Aug. 24, the 38-year-old shared photos of herself on set for the upcoming local drama series "Honour and Unity".

The drama series, which also stars Elvin Ng and Charlie Goh, is scheduled to be released in November.
"Feels so good to be back to acting after a year. The last English drama I did was 'Point of Entry' 13 years ago," she wrote.
She added that her English has improved after three weeks of "intense training".
"Every day felt like an oral exam to me, but I think that's the excitement of it. Thank you to all my English teachers on set!"
The actress previously left Mediacorp in February 2023 for a career break.
