M'sia border agency gives ICA S'pore 60th national day cake at Woodlands Checkpoint

The Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency presented Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) with a cake on Thursday (Aug. 7) to mark Singapore's upcoming 60th birthday.

The cake was gifted during a visit to Woodlands Checkpoint by a delegation from Bangunan Sultan Iskandar, Malaysia's customs and immigration complex at the Johor-Singapore Causeway.

It featured Singapore's national colours, as well as an edible graphic with the words, "Unity beyond borders".

In a Facebook post on Friday (Aug. 8), ICA shared that the Malaysian delegation was hosted by ICA Land Domain Commander Chua Sze How.

"ICA looks forward to strengthening our partnership, continuing our collaboration, and ensuring smooth trade and safe travels at our land borders," ICA wrote in the post.
