Ice cream vending machine at Mount Faber displays Hokkien expletives

A Mount Faber Park ice cream vending machine spelled out Hokkien vulgarities on its LED screen to the chagrin of visitors who recognised the words.

A TikTok of the vending machine was uploaded by user @dashamin666.

The words “NABEH CHEEBY” appeared repeatedly.

The TikTok user also tagged the machine's operator, Happy Ice.

He asked them in his TikTok post to "please look into this".

Reactions

The post, which has since garnered more than 150 comments and over 1,600 shares, has left online commenters amused over the unexpected message.

Some said the authorities should investigate this as the area is frequented by tourists.

Others just laughed it off and said tourists were lucky as they would not understand what this meant.
