S'porean actor Glenn Yong hospitalised on National Day, makes appearance at NDP shortly after
Singapore spirit.

On Aug. 9, many gathered at the Padang to celebrate Singapore's 60th National Day.
But for Singaporean actor Glenn Yong, this year’s celebrations began with an unexpected trip to the hospital.
In an Instagram Story posted on Aug. 9, the 28-year-old shared that he was hospitalised on National Day.

He explained that he had overexerted himself while exercising, resulting in his body being severely dehydrated.
"The Creatine Kinase (CK) levels rose to around 14000. It's supposed to be below 250. That's why I got admitted to the hospital and had to get a drip. "
Yong has clarified that he was discharged on the same day and is currently monitoring his health.
