Girl, 12, allegedly knocked down by cyclist outside Waterway Point & sent to KKH
SCDF conveyed the girl to KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
A 12-year-old girl was allegedly knocked down by a cyclist in front of Waterway Point at Punggol on Aug. 15.
Incident came to light in a Facebook post
The incident came to light after a Facebook user posted a photo of the incident on the SG PCN Cyclist Facebook group page.
In the caption, the user wrote that the girl was his friend's daughter and added that the girl was unconscious in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
He also urged cyclists to be more careful on the roads and to slow down when approaching crowded areas.

Girl was sent to KK Hospital
Speaking to Mothership, Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) stated that they were alerted to the incident at Waterway Point at about 5:20pm on Aug. 15.
They subsequently conveyed the girl to KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
