S'pore actress Lina Ng's son lets mom wear white coat to fulfil childhood dream of being doctor for just 'a few precious minutes'

Local Mediacorp actress Lina Ng shared a sweet family moment in an Instagram post on Aug. 15.
Second child got accepted into Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine
The 51-year-old celebrated a milestone for her second child, 19-year-old Joel, who has been accepted into Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at National University of Singapore (NUS).
Ng, along with her husband Mike Lam and Joel, can be seen beaming in the photos.
Revealed that she once dreamed of becoming a doctor
In a separate video, Ng revealed that she once dreamed of becoming a doctor herself.
“It was once my childhood dream to be a doctor. For a few precious minutes, he (Joel) made my dream come true. So sweet of him,” Ng wrote in her Instagram caption.
The clip shows Joel placing his doctor’s coat on Ng, whose eyes lit up with joy as she donned the coat.
Turning to the camera, Ng said, “I always wanted to be a doctor but it never came to pass… I’ve never been a doctor in any of my shows either”.
The clip ended with the three posing for a photo, all of them grinning from ear to ear.
