Man, 44, died after neighbourly dispute with another man, 53, at Yishun HDB block
The 44-year-old man allegedly injured the 53-year-old man with a knife following the dispute.
A 44-year-old man died and a 53-year-old man was conveyed to the hospital after a dispute arose along the corridor of Block 334B Yishun Street 31 on the afternoon of Jul. 19.
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed with Mothership that they received a call for assistance at around 5:20pm on Jul. 19.
Upon their arrival, police officers found an injured 53-year-old man in his residential unit and a 44-year-old man lying motionless at the foot of the block.
The 44-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic, while the 53-year-old was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Preliminary investigations by SPF revealed that the men were neighbours residing in the block. They were involved in a prior dispute along the corridor.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.
Police investigations are ongoing.
