To celebrate SG60 and Subway’s 60th anniversary, Subway Singapore is giving out free ice cream with a local twist.

Subway is giving away free Pandan Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches. The ice cream is sandwiched between cookies made with pandan and nutty coconut flakes.
Pandan cookie returns
Long-time Subway fans should be familiar with Subway’s Pandan Cookie, which will be returning for a limited time.
For those who need a refresher, the soft and chewy cookie hits the spot with light pandan fragrance and nutty bites of coconut flakes.
Think of it as kueh dadar, but as a cookie.
And here’s what makes the cookie Singaporean-approved — it’s not too sweet.
Free ice cream sandwich across 3 weeks
Paired with raspberry ripple ice cream, the Pandan Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches makes for a cool celebratory treat.
A shared local experience, these sandwiches will be given out by our very own Uncle Chieng’s ice cream cart, at various locations.

- Jul. 30 at Raffles Green: 11:30am to 2:30pm

Laksa Pesto Sub
To celebrate the upcoming National Day, Subway has also launched the special edition Laksa Pesto Sub.
This dish is inspired by Singapore’s culinary heritage and infused with a touch of Italian flair.
The sub consists of chicken thigh marinated in fresh pesto of laksa leaves and topped with hard-boiled egg slices and laksa pesto sauce.
If you’re expecting this to taste like the usual creamy laksa fusion dish, you’re in for a surprise.

As someone who loves my food well-spiced and zesty, I appreciated how you can really taste the herbaceous flavour of laksa leaves in the pesto.
I personally think it complements the well-seasoned chicken and creaminess of the hard-boiled egg (each 6-inch sub comes with a whole egg, by the way).
A 6-inch meal, which includes the Laksa Pesto sub, a Pandan Cookie and a drink, is also available at S$10.90.
If you’re looking to go ala carte, a 6-inch sub starts from S$9.50 while a footlong sub starts from S$15.50.
