To commemorate Singapore’s 60th birthday, eligible Singaporeans aged 21 and above will receive a one-time disbursement of S$600 to S$800 in the form of SG60 vouchers this July.

The vouchers can be used at businesses that accept CDC vouchers - including selected hawkers, heartland merchants, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants.

If you're thinking of spending beyond the usual hawker fare, here are 15 cafes and restaurants across the island where you can put your SG60 vouchers to good use.

1. Creamier

Homegrown ice cream chain Creamier accepts SG60 vouchers at selected outlets.

Known for its artisanal handcrafted ice cream and waffles, the ice cream chain uses premium ingredients to create its signature flavours.

2. Tea Dough

Tea Dough is a local bubble tea brand known for its affordable selection of drinks, ranging from classic milk tea offerings to matcha lattes.

Its flagship outlet at Pioneer Mall operates as a takeaway-only store.

For a more relaxed experience, those with furry companions can also visit its pet-friendly cafe at KAP Mall.

3. Buddy Bistro

Located at Bedok Reservoir, Buddy Bistro is a family-friendly venue that serves a hearty selection of Western cuisine.

The restaurant is run by an elderly couple, who previously ran a successful pizza shop in the neighbourhood.

Located along Upper East Coast Road, Black Pearl Steakhouse is a neighbourhood favourite known for its quality cuts, which are air-flown from the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, and Argentina.

11. Sweedy Patisserie

Founded by a mother-daughter duo, the cafe began online in 2019 before opening its flagship cafe at Hougang RiverCourt in 2022.

The patisserie specialises in artisanal fatcarons (oversized macarons loaded with thick buttercream) and durian cakes.

Crowd favourites include their signature Mao Shan Wang Fatcaron (S$6.50+), Hojicha Fatcaron (S$5+), and White Chocolate Fatcaron (S$5+).

In line with viral dessert trends, they also recently introduced crookies (a croissant cookie hybrid) to their menu last year.

Bailey & Patch serves an array of Asian cuisine dishes.
