Star Awards 2025: A very honest review of celeb outfits

The annual Star Awards on Jul. 6 saw Mediacorp's best and brightest trickling into The Theatre earlier this evening, hoping to make the reverse journey with a trophy in hand.

But while their eyes were on the prize, our eyes were on them.

More specifically, on their fascinating garb.

Here were some of the standouts.

Desmond Tan: 8/10

Real men aren't afraid to have something short on them.

Elvin Ng :7/10

Somewhere, a hotel is missing its bathrobe.

Tyler Ten: 6/10

Singapore very hot.

Tasha Low: 7/10

Singapore not hot enough.

Richie Koh: 5/10

When you have a toga party at 5pm but an important career milestone at 7pm.

Zoe Tay 7/10

Ageing like fine wine.

Huang Biren: 6/10

That necklace is heavier than my emotional baggage.

Abigail Chue: 6/10

When the bedsheet store says the quilt is "multi-purpose".

Good deterrence against extroverts who hug you all the time for no reason.

Everyone who wasn't in the popular clique in school is having PTSD now.

Hong Huifang, Xiang Yun: 7/10

Everyone's go-to highlighter colours.

Shane Pow, Li Nanxing, Ben Yeo: 6/10

The flora is making a statement. We're just not sure what it's trying to say.

All in all, outfit-wise, not a bad turnout this year.

Some were good, some more of an acquired taste.

Nevertheless, the world keeps turning.
