Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant Mak Man Kee Wonton Noodles will be coming to Singapore, bringing in more Hong Kong delicacies to our sunny island.
The restaurant is opening an outlet in collaboration with Joy Luck Teahouse, which currently has an outlet located at basement 1 of Bugis Junction.
The new outlet will open at Food Republic, Causeway Point, on Jul. 18.
The food
Customers can look forward to Mak Man Kee Wonton Noodles’ iconic wontons at the outlet, as well as a prawn and chicken wonton variation that will be available for the Singapore menu.
Those looking for something more hearty can try their Zha Jiang Mian with chicken in a rich, braised sauce.
Other food on the menu includes Hong Kong-style French loafs, toasts, silky congee, and flavourful Cantonese beef noodles.
Customers with a sweet tooth can also try Joy Luck Teahouse's signature snacks, including their egg tarts in their original flavour, as well as new flavours like Lychee and Pandan.
Bolo Buns come in both sweet and savoury versions—including butter, luncheon meat, and chicken char siew.
For those looking for an afternoon snack, they can try the Hong Kong Three Treasures set with a Bolo Bun, Cookie Egg Tart, and HK Milk Tea.
The new outlet marks Mak Man Kee Wonton Noodles' first overseas venture.
