MBS holding free concerts, selling dessert boxes from Michelin-starred restaurant CUT
For charity.
To commemorate Singapore's 60th birthday, Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is launching a series of fundraising activities from July to September.
This is part of its annual Sands for Charity Festival, which will run from now till Sep. 7.

The integrated resort is strengthening its commitment to Singapore’s social service sector by raising funds for partner charities and non-profit organisations.
First held in 2013, over S$39 million has been raised through the festival.
Free concert
Highlights include free concerts from Sep. 5 to 7.
The line-up features local actor and singer Glenn Yong, who will be returning for his third Sands for Charity Festival this year.
Other notable names include Singaporean band 53A, who sang the 2016 NDP theme song "Tomorrow's Here Today".
Sweet treats for a good cause
MBS will also be taking pre-orders for dessert box by some of the F&B establishments on property, which includes one of each:
- Sakura Cerise Almond Tart by Origin + Bloom
- Cheesecake Tart with Japanese Rice Paper by Wakuda
- Chocolate Buckwheat Tart by Maison Boulud
- Pistachio Tart by CUT

The tarts are S$45 per box, and must be ordered between now and Aug. 25, and collected between Sep. 1 and 7.
