S'porean female primary school teacher, 34, charged for performing sexual acts with underage male, 13

A 34-year-old female primary school teacher in Singapore was charged for performing sexual acts on an underage boy in 2019.
The boy was between 13 and 14 years old at the time of the offence.
He was one of the woman's students.
Woman faces four charges in total
According to The Straits Times, the Singaporean woman faces a total of four charges.
She was charged with one count of performing a sexual act on a minor, and one count of harassment.
She was also accused of sexually grooming a minor and performing an indecent act on an underage boy.
Court documents did not reveal if the woman was still the boy's teacher at the time of the alleged offences.
The case involves one alleged victim, based on ST's understanding.
The woman's name was not revealed due to a gag order to protect the identity of the victim or victims involved.
Woman met minor at a car park
ST reported that the woman was accused of meeting a minor, who was between 13 and 14 years old at the time, at a multi-storey car park to allegedly perform an undisclosed indecent act on him in 2019.
The two had met at the car park on at least two separate occasions.
Committed an indecent act in a car
According to ST, court documents revealed that the woman allegedly committed an indecent act on a 13-year-old boy by hugging and kissing him inside a car.
She was also accused of sitting on his lap and getting physical with the boy.
This took place between Feb. 20 and Oct. 8, 2019.
The woman also allegedly performed oral sex on the 14-year-old boy on one occasion between November 2019 and December 2019.
Accused of harassment
As reported in ST, the woman was also charged with one count of harassment as she had allegedly stalked a male victim by sending him at least 18 unwanted emails even though she was told not to contact him.
Her case has been adjourned to August 2025.
For performing a sexual act on an underage boy, an offender can be jailed for up to 10 years and fined.
For performing an indecent act on a minor, an offender can be jailed for up to five years and fined up to S$10,000.
Repeat offenders can be jailed for up to seven years and fined up to S$20,000.
