9 durian buffets in S'pore that will leave you satiated this durian season

Durian season is in full swing once again.

If you're looking to indulge in the King of Fruits, we've compiled nine ongoing durian buffets in Singapore where you can feast to your heart’s content.

1. All Hail the King Durian Fest @ Resorts World Sentosa

For those craving a more premium durian experience, Resorts World Sentosa will be bringing back its "All Hail The King Durian Fest" this July.

The all-you-can-eat durian fest will run from Jul. 18 to 20 at The Bay Restaurant in Adventure Cove Waterpark.

According to its website, diners can expect local favourites like Mao Shan Wang and more.

The buffet also offers a selection of fresh seasonal fruits and Dian Xiao Er delights.

2. Durian Buffet Party @ Giant

Local supermarket chain Giant will also be having a durian buffet tasting at its IMM outlet this July.

From Jul. 19 to 20, guests can enjoy an assortment of durian varieties, including Black Pearl and Red Prawn.

Each buffet ticket also includes a fresh coconut and a portion of tropical fruits.

Prices range from S$65 to S$85, depending on the buffet tier.

3. Durian Dessert Buffet @ Goodwood Park Hotel

If you are looking for something upmarket, consider heading down to Goodwood Park Hotel this durian season.

The hotel is hosting a durian dessert buffet from now till Aug. 10 at its Coffee Lounge.

Highlights include its Torched Marshmallow Durian Ice Cream and Fluffy Durian Pancake.

4. Royal Durian Bazaar @ Ellenborough Market Cafe

Ellenbourgh Market Cafe is offering an all-you-can-eat durian experience every Thursday from now till Aug. 7.

Located in Paradox Singapore at Merchant Road, the buffet features an unlimited selection of premium durian varieties.

Diners can expect local favourites like Mao Shang Wang and D23 at the buffet.

The experience also includes a spread of local and international dishes from the restraunt's signature buffet lineup.

5. All-You-Can-Eat Durian Buffet @ Fairprice Xtra

This durian season, Fairprice will be bringing back its popular all-you-can-eat durian buffet.

With a 60-minute dining duration, customers can choose from an unlimited selection of durian flavours at the supermarket chain.

Crowd favourites include Kampong Durians and Black Thorn.

The buffet will only be available at two outlets for the following dates:

  • FairPrice Xtra Jem from Jul. 25 to Jul. 27
  • FairPrice Xtra Vivo City from Aug. 1 to Aug. 3

Prices range from S$65 to S$85, depending on the buffet tier.

Do note that there is a S$3 charge for any wastage per 100g.

6. SG60 Durian Fiesta @ Grand Copthrone Waterfront Hotel Singapore

In celebration of Singapore's 60th birthday, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore will be hosting a durian-inspired buffet from now till Sep. 14.

Besides durians, the buffet will also serve up various durian-inspired dishes and desserts at its Food Capital restaurant.

Highlights include its Gratin Parmigiana Durian, Durian Laksa, and Durian Gula Melaka Kueh Dadar.

7. Pahang Mao Shan Wang Durian Buffet @ Jurong Point

From now till Aug. 24, Jurong Point will be bringing back its annual Durian Fiesta.

Located in front of City Hot Pot at level one, the event includes an all-you-can-eat durian buffet every Wednesday from 8pm to 10pm.

According to a press release, the buffet will feature premium Mao Shang Wang from Pahang, Malaysia.

8. Durian Party @ Genting Dream

Ever wanted to enjoy durian on a cruise ship?

Now you can aboard Dream Cruises’ Genting Dream.

The Malaysian cruise company is bringing back its "Durian Party" for four special two-night sailings from Singapore to Melaka, Malaysia.

The cruise includes an onshore "Eat-All-You-Can Premium Durian Buffet" package in Melaka from Aug. 24 to Sep. 14.

Passengers can enjoy an array of classic durian varieties imported from Malaysia.

For those who prefer something lighter, there is also a selection of tropical fruits at the buffet.

Tickets start from S$45 per pax and can be booked as part of the cruise package or onboard at the box office.

9. 1-for-1 Mao Shan Wang durian buffet @ Yue at Aloft

Chinese restaurant Yue at Aloft is offering diners a 1-for-1 free-flow Mao Shan Wang durian buffet from now till Sep. 28.

With a dining duration of 60 minutes, diners can choose from an assortment of premium durian flavours.

Prices start at S$108++ per pax.

Do note that a minimum of two pax is required for the buffet to be eligible.
