S$3 cashback for PayLah! users at selected hawker stalls & heartland shops every Saturday from Jul. 12 to Sep. 27

The first 160,000 people who use PayLah! to scan-and-pay at over 22,000 participating hawker stalls, wet markets, and heartland shops can enjoy up to S$3 cashback every Saturday from 8am.

The campaign runs from Jul. 12 to Sep. 27.

DBS/POSB shared that over 70 per cent of payments made via PayLah! Scan to Pay are for food and groceries from the heartland shops and hawker stalls.

Among those who redeemed the cashback rewards, 39 per cent were senior citizens and/or earning less than S$2,500 a month.

It added that participating hawkers, wet market stallholders and heartland merchants also saw their weekend earnings increase by about 40 per cent via PayLah! transactions.

"The positive reception to our PayLah! weekly cashback initiative has been encouraging," said DBS Singapore country head Lim Him Chuan.

"Through our entire suite of support measures, we seek to ease living and business costs, as well as enhance the well-being of our society by making everyday moments a little more special and meaningful for everyone.”

Additionally, POSB debit and credit card members can enjoy meal deals for S$0.60 and S$6 at participating food and beverage outlets, including Old Chang Kee, BreadTalk, Toast Box, and KFC.

These deals are available from Jul. 1 to Sep. 30 via the POSB Everyday Card and PAssion POSB Debit Card.
