US singer Jason Derulo tries S'pore food at Lau Pa Sat, blown away by chicken rice

Jason Derulo graced our shores recently.

The "Savage Love" singer performed here yesterday (Jun. 25) as part of his "Nu King World Tour".

Tried local food at Lau Pa Sat

Like most tourists visiting Singapore for the first time, Derulo made sure not to miss out on the local hawker experience.

In a TikTok video posted on Jun. 25, the singer could be seen trying and reviewing various local dishes at Lau Pa Sat.

The dishes included chicken rice, nasi briyani, roti prata, rojak, lala (clams), gong gong (sea snails), and ice kacang.

The singer didn't hold back with his reactions, giving his honest review on each dish.

Of all the food he tried, chicken rice was the clear winner — Derulo gave it a solid 10 out of 10.

"I could eat this every day," he said.
