Two Bakers, a cafe located along Horne Road in Lavender, will be closing down in mid-August 2025.
The cafe, which is known for its omakase desserts, has been in business since 2014, according to Two Bakers' website.
'Incredibly difficult' decision
In a Jun. 3 Instagram post announcing the cafe's upcoming closure, Two Bakers' co-founders Erica and Jessica said the decision was "incredibly difficult".
Without elaborating on the reasons behind the decision, the pair wrote that the cafe's journey has been "deeply intertwined" with that of their customers over the last 11 years.
"We've shared in your joys, celebrated your successes, survived through a pandemic, and had the privilege of being a small part of your daily lives and special occasions," read the post.
Co-founder will 'explore new possibilities'
Although the cafe will be closing down in two months' time, Erica and Jessica said the connection and community the cafe built with its patrons will always remain.
They also invited customers to pay the cafe a final visit before mid-August so that they can express their gratitude in person.
However, it appeared that the closure of the cafe at Lavender would not be the end of the brand.
In the post, Erica and Jessica hinted that they will "take a break and explore new possibilities" after the cafe's closure.
The pair also asked the cafe's followers to share where they would like to see the pair next.
