US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire earlier today between Israel and Iran.

The ceasefire however was "violated" according to Trump.

Israel claimed that Iran had violated the ceasefire agreement by launching a missile strike hours after the agreement.

Iran's military and state media denied attacking Israel after the ceasefire.

When asked by the media if Iran had violated the agreement. Trump agreed that they had violated it, but said Israel had violated it too.

Pointing to them dropping a "load of bombs the likes of which I have never seen before", further saying it was the "biggest load" he'd seen.

He also noted that Israel's load of bombs happened within an hour after the deal was made.

Saying he was unhappy with both sides, he emphasised that he was "really unhappy" with Israel if they go out of it (presumably meaning the agreement) due to one rocket that "didn't land" that was perhaps shot by "mistake".

Trump summarised the situation at the end of the CSpan clip with this kicker.

"We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f*ck they’re doing."

Shortly after he said Israel and Iran had both violated the ceasefire agreement he brokered, Trump warned Israel not to drop further bombs on Iran.

He said in a post on Truth Social:

"ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES"
