WhatsappFour Singaporeans were injured during their car ride in Genting Highlands when their car was hit by a pick-up truck.

According to Malaysian media Chinapress, the four Singaporeans had hired a private car and were heading to the middle of the highlands on Jun. 8.

At around 4:50pm, the car was hit by a black pick-up truck that was being driven by a man Chinapress reported as a foreigner.

The truck was also carrying three passengers.

In pictures from Chinapress, the right side of the car's front was crushed.

While the driver of the taxi was unharmed, the four Singaporean tourists in the taxi were injured.

However, the truck driver reportedly drove off and fled the scene immediately after the accident.

The police later tracked down the driver and arrested him, said Chinapress.
