Mediacorp male staff, 28, arrested after 'behaving suspiciously' inside company's female toilet

A 28-year-old male employee was arrested after "behaving suspiciously" inside a female toilet on the premises of national broadcaster Mediacorp.
The police confirmed with Mothership that they were alerted to the case of voyeurism at 1 Stars Avenue at about 2pm on Jun. 10.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Employment terminated
In response to Mothership's queries, Mediacorp said it has taken immediate action following the "serious incident" and terminated the man's employment with immediate effect.
"The safety and well-being of our employees is of paramount importance to us, and we remain committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for all," they said.
Mediacorp added that it is unable to provide further details at this time as the matter has been handed over to the police and the individual has been detained for further investigation.
