SIA cancels all Dubai flights til Jun. 25 amid Middle East conflict
Live air traffic data provided by Flightradar24 shows that planes continue to avoid the airspace of both countries.
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has suspended all flights to and from Dubai in the upcoming days, following “a security assessment of the geopolitical situation in the Middle East”, according to a notice on the airline's website.
A quick search on the SIA website showed that all flights to and from Dubai were cancelled till June 25.
The six cancelled flights include SQ494 flights, which fly from Singapore to Dubai, and the SQ495 flights, which depart from Dubai to Singapore.
SIA said customers affected by the flight cancellations will be placed on alternative flights or can seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket.
Cancelled flights due to security assessment
CNA reported that Singapore Airlines has cancelled two flights to Dubai in the UAE following a “security assessment” of the situation in the Middle East.
All SIA and Scoot flights have stopped flying over Iranian airspace and have used alternative flight paths since Aug. 2, 2024, the SIA group said last week.

11 Singaporeans evacuated from Iran
11 Singaporeans have been evacuated from Iran following the outbreak of the Israel-Iran war on Jun. 13, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesperson said on Jun. 23, 2025.
Both the Malaysian and Omani governments, as well as embassy officials, worked closely with officials from the Singapore Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and Muscat, respectively, to facilitate the departures.
The Singapore government expressed "its deepest appreciation and gratitude to the governments of Oman and Malaysia" for aiding in the evacuations of the Singaporeans, MFA said.

Iran and Israel have been embroiled in a war since Israel commenced military strikes against Iranian targets on Jun. 13, including killing Iranian officials in residential areas, resulting in civilian casualties.
Iran has hit back with ballistic missiles aimed at Israeli cities, including damaging a hospital in the town of Beersheba, resulting in civilian casualties.
The U.S. got involved in the war on Jun. 22 as President Donald Trump ordered the use of "bunker buster" bombs on nuclear facilities in Iran.
