Pink Dot 17 is happening today at Hong Lim Park.
Attendees could be seen streaming into the venue despite the rain.

Among the politicians who made an appearance were Workers' Party's Sengkang MPs Louis Chua and He Ting Ru.
Dressed in pink, Chua and He arrived at the event at around 4pm.
This is the third year in a row that Chua and He attended the Pink Dot event.

People's Action Party MPs Alex Yeo and Ng Shi Xuan also arrived at the event at around 4:30pm.

Progress Singapore Party's Youth Wing Head Samuel Lim and other members were there too.
Pink Dot's time capsule
This year, Pink Dot introduces a community time capsule, where they gather memories, mementos and expressions of love from LGBTQ+ Singaporeans and allies.

“These aren’t just stories of love, but also of hope and resilience. Instead of being forgotten over time, we want these stories to transcend generations and inspire future LGBTQ+ Singaporeans” said Pink Dot spokesperson Clement Tan.
The collection of stories and memories from members of the public started prior to the Pink Dot event.
Some were showcased at the event before the capsule of memories are sealed and preserved till 2050 for a new generation to open.
