'I'm in even better shape than I was before': S'pore billionaire heiress Kim Lim on bouncing back postpartum
Lim revealed she had lost 25kg after her second pregnancy.
Balancing motherhood and managing multiple beauty and wellness brands is no easy feat — but Singapore heiress and entrepreneur Kim Lim makes it look doable.
Lim, who recently gave birth to her second child, is the founder of KLHealth, which includes brands like illumia Skin, illumia Medical, and illumia Therapeutics.
Despite her packed schedule as a businesswoman and mum of two, Lim has managed an impressive post-partum transformation.
The 33-year-old's secret? A whole lot of dedication.
Speaking to Mothership, Lim revealed that she had undergone several advanced beauty procedures to help with her recovery after pregnancy.
"I put on 25kg during this pregnancy, but thanks to the intense combination of different treatments across illumia, right now I’m in even better shape than I was before," she shared.
Her bounce back isn't just a personal milestone - it's also proof of concept.
Behind the scenes, Lim is far from just a figurehead.
She personally tests every treatment, formula, and protocol before they’re launched to the public.
Lim says she can better understand the customer experience and guide them to the most effective solutions by going through the journey herself.
"Ultimately, I hope these treatments can help them rediscover their confidence and show their best self every day."
Giving back to loyal customers
The same dedication to her customers is what inspired Lim to recently launch her new membership programme that brings together her two beauty brands - Papilla and illumia.
"A lot of customers have believed in us and trusted us over the years. I think it was a natural next step to take to give back to them and thank them for their trust in us," she said.
The membership programme is designed to reward long-time customers with exclusive perks.
Members can expect benefits that go beyond aesthetic treatments, including collaborations with luxury brands like The Fullerton Hotel, The Fullerton Bay Hotel, and lifestyle hotspot C.O.T.U.
