Mediacorp Chinese drama 'Emerald Hill' to be aired in China in late 2025
The show has drawn over 1.67 million viewers on Channel 8 and mewatch.
Mediacorp’s period drama "Emerald Hill" has been acquired by Shanghai Media Group and will air on China’s Dragon TV later this year.
The announcement was made today (Jun. 24) at an international content forum in Shanghai, where executive producer Loh Woon Woon and cast members Chantalle Ng and Tyler Ten shared insights on the show’s cultural roots.

According to a press release, the deal puts the Singapore-made series in front of over 360 million viewers across China.
About Emerald Hill
"Emerald Hill" is a standalone spin-off of the popular 2008 Chinese drama "The Little Nyonya".
The new show stars local actresses Tasha Low, Chantalle Ng, and Ferlyn Wong.
The series premiered in Singapore in 2025, drawing over 1.67 million viewers on Channel 8 and mewatch, excluding global and regional platforms.
It also became the first Mediacorp Chinese drama to debut at #1 on Netflix Singapore.
