S$5,000 raised as reward for info on alleged Yishun cat killer responsible for King Kong's death
Seeking justice.
Cat lovers have come together to offer a S$5,000 reward for information relating to the brutal death of King Kong the Yishun community cat.
On May 9, King Kong was found dead near Yishun Oleander Breeze with its body showing signs of it being tortured.
Info that can lead to arrest
In a Jun. 2 post on a community cat Facebook page, a user, Janet Chin, shared that concerned cat lovers have contributed a total of S$5,000 to help find the person responsible for King Kong's death.
It will be given for information leading to their successful arrest.
The reward was increased from the S$1,000 initially offered in Chin's Facebook post on May 18.
Members of the public can submit a tip confidentially over WhatsApp or phone call to the number on the poster.

The National Parks Board (NParks) said in its May 17 statement that it was still investigating the case.
They urged the public to avoid speculation and to "verify their information sources".
