I've given my all to serve you, your family & our country: Lawrence Wong on being S'pore's PM over the past year
PM Wong said he will "redouble his efforts" moving forward.

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong shared some reflections on his year-long premiership and the road ahead for Singapore in a TikTok video published on May 1 night, hours before Cooling-off day kicks in:
"I've had the privilege of serving as your Prime Minister over the past year. I've given my all to this work to serve you, your families and our country.
I've worked hard to tackle the issues that matter to you, cost of living, jobs, healthcare, education and others, and we have plans to do much more."
Concurrently, PM Wong shared that what he treasures the most are the moments he shared with Singaporeans over the last 12 months, such as during his visits to their neighbourhoods, engagement with the communities, as well as dialogues and town halls where Singaporeans shared their thoughts with him.
"We are a diverse society. Many voices, multiple dreams, but to me, every voice matters. Every Singaporean matters. You matter," he added.
Promise to redouble efforts
Looking ahead, PM Wong said he hopes to do more with all Singaporeans:
"I will redouble my efforts to engage and listen, to open up space for your diverse aspirations to be fulfilled and to make Singapore a better, fairer, and more inclusive home for all."
Noting that he will accomplish these goals with a team, PM Wong added that he has put together "the best possible PAP (People's Action Party) team" to serve Singaporeans, steer Singapore "safely through the storm", and "build the shared future".
He also made a final appeal to voters for General Election 2025:
"So I hope you will support the PAP teams and constituencies across Singapore, wherever you are.
Together, we will secure a brighter future for you, your families and for Singapore."
