Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant opens S'pore branch in Shaw Centre

Two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant Zeniya Kanazawa has reopened its Singapore branch at Shaw Centre Orchard.

Previously, Zeniya Singapore — the Japanese restaurant's only outlet outside of Japan — was located at Shangri-La Singapore.

It temporarily closed its doors in April 2025 to prepare for its relocation.

Headed by chef Shuji Yoshitaki, who has three decades of culinary experience in Japan, the restaurant is known for its kaiseki-style cuisine.

Kaiseki refers to a traditional multi-course Japanese meal characterised by small, intricate dishes.

Zeniya Singapore at Shaw Centre will open from May 17.

Prices start at S$188 for its kaiseki lunch menu and S$288 for its dinner menu.
