There was a mind boggling 11 rallies held on the last day of campaigning for GE2025.
Here are the sights and speeches from some of the key rallies.
PAP
Sengkang GRC
The Sengkang GRC rally at North Vista Secondary School saw a guest appearance by PM Wong who spoke after Sengkang GRC candidate Bernadette Giam.
He said he would go second as he was double booked.
In his speech, he spoke about the need to give the Sengkang team a chance.
“In 2020, Sengkang was a new GRC. The PAP contested. Unfortunately, we lost. We didn't get the chance to serve you at that time, but the PAP has not given up on Sengkang.
And in this election, we have fielded a strong, capable team. They are the underdogs, but mind you, they are ready to serve you, and they are ready to make a comeback.”
PM Wong also noted that the opposition had said upgrading programmes had been extended across all estates, but he said these were just the baseline, and urged residents not to settle for that.
PM Wong said that Sengkang residents, having experienced representation from both the PAP and WP, "have a very good basis to compare" both teams.
He then urged residents to reflect and weigh their choices carefully as they head to the polls on May 3.
He ended his speech by saying that PAP is prepared to take the hard road, especially when it is the right and responsible thing to do.
Punggol GRC
The PAP Punggol team spoke at Yusof Ishak Secondary School.
Here are some of the speakers for the rally, which included former manpower minister and Labour chief Lim Swee Say.
DPM Gan also made reference to his recent moniker, saying while he was indeed the "Taskforce Man" and had many tasks, he said none were more important than "serving people".
“Let me end on a personal note. I know some have been whispering on the ground: Gan Kim Yong already 66 and he is DPM and Task Force man.
He has to look after our Economy and Trade. So where got time for Punggol residents? Let me say this: I have been in politics for almost 25 years now. Since I started in 2001, my first priority has always been my residents. I can only be a minister if I'm an MP. So being your MP is my first priority.
Yes, I am Task Force Man. I have many tasks, but none more important than the task of looking after you. I am Task Force man for Punggol.”
And then came the aforementioned double booking, Punggol also saw a guest appearance by PM Wong.
PM Wong spoke in Malay, Chinese and English.
In his speech, PM Wong vouched for DPM Gan's character. Highlighting his many years of service and his "heart for the people".
Turning his attention to the opposition, PM Wong said the opposition didn't want to form the government and instead wanted PAP to do the heavy lifting.
“The opposition parties say they don’t want to form the government. Whose responsibility is that? It’s the PAP. The PAP does the heavylifting. The PAP’s job, not mine. They want more seats but not more responsibility.”
He also referenced on an opposition party comparing him to Lee Kuan Yew:
“In the course of this campaign, I heard one of the opposition parties say, ‘Lawrence Wong is nowhere like Lee Kuan Yew. So different. Standards have dropped.’
And I kind of laughed. Because who in Singapore is like Lee Kuan Yew? There is only one Lee Kuan Yew. No other. I don’t compare myself to him. I am my own person.”
Tampines
The Tampines team spoke at Temasek JC.

SM Lee spoke in Malay, Chinese and English.
He also talked about the possibility of Singapore becoming ordinary.
"But if we become an ordinary country, an ordinary democracy, then our performance, I can tell you, will become ordinary, and you have to be prepared for that.
And if our performance is ordinary, many of the things we have gotten used to, the quality of education, the quality of housing, the quality of healthcare, the quality of government, the standing in the world, your red passport will not be the same as before."
SM Lee also spoke in Malay about the multiracial policies Singapore had from the beginning, something he said was only possible due to the support of the Malay community.
He said the government would continue to work with all racial and religious groups, especially the minority races.
SM Lee said this is how the government enlarges the common space within Singapore's multiracial society, to everyone's benefit.
SM Lee also reflected on GE2020: “I called the elections as soon as possible, because I wanted a clear mandate, knowing that there were many twists and turns to come, many more hard decisions to make.
And thankfully, we got a clear mandate in that election, and we were able to get through Covid-19 and come out intact… That is because you have got an extraordinary country and an extraordinary people and an extraordinary government".
WP
WP held their final rally at Anderson Serangoon Junior College.
Here is everyone on the stage.
Chair Sylvia Lim spoke at the rally, ending off her speech with this:
"My friends, may we wake up on Sunday morning to clear blue skies."
The final speaker for the night was Pritam Singh.
Amongst many shots, he talked about DPM Gan not being dispensable, saying no one is indispensable, and questioning why PAP had placed him in Punggol.
"DPM Gan is not indispensable, and that is the simple truth, no one is indispensable. If DPM Gan is not re-elected, Singaporeans need not feel guilty. After all, you didn't put him at risk. The PAP did."
Singh noted that the PAP would still have 73 per cent of seats even if all 26 WP candidates were elected, and foreign leaders would not consider this weak.
Singh urged Singaporeans to remember this phrase when they cast their votes: "The Workers’ Party is a force for good".
Rounding off his speech, Singh introduced a familiar face, Low Thia Khiang.
Before ending off the rally with a reciting of the pledge.
PSP
PSP held their first ever physical rally a few days back, now they were holding their last rally for 2025 at Jurong West Stadium.
Here are the people on stage.
Former WP MP Leon Perera was the emcee for the event.
With Chairman Tan Cheng Bock coming in later.
PSP's Leong Mun Wai and Hazel Poa also spoke at the rally.
Leong said that the PAP government would not be weakened if they lose a few ministers because the opposition would come in and provide more ideas, and Poa said that people should worry about ordinary Singaporeans, not PAP losing ministers.
Tan said this was his "last political rally". And that he was standing there with his "whole heart" and soul.
Tan talked about the importance of being able to challenge the leaders of your party, something he said PSP members were not afraid to do.
PSP also ended their rally with a pledge.
And that's about it folks, have a good cooling-off day tomorrow.
