Lady Gaga rolls out S'pore flag HDB-style on day 1 of S'pore concert
For the little monsters in Singapore.

Lady Gaga kicked off the first night of her four-day concert at the National Stadium last night (May 18).
Called "Mayhem Singapura", the Singapore leg of the Mayhem promotional concerts is the singer's only stop in Asia.
A crowd of over 47,000 fans attended the sold-out show in Singapore.
Fashionable concert
In typical Little Monster (what Lady Gaga fondly calls her fans) fashion, fans from all over the world, including China and the Philippines, dressed to the nines for the event.

The cheers got louder when the lights in the stadium switched off at around 8:20pm, 20 minutes after the stipulated start time.
Lady Gaga started the night with "Bloody Mary" while perched on top of a tower in the middle of the stage.

She put up a theatrical performance over four acts for almost two hours, playing hits like "Abracadabra", "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance".
Singapore special
Fans also noticed a few moments which made the concert especially special for Singapore.
She strutted out in a new costume during her "Judas" performance — a red and white dress, which fans believe pays homage to Singapore.
Right after singing a rendition of "Paparazzi", Lady Gaga rolled out the Singapore flag and gave a short speech reminiscing about the last time she was in Singapore to perform for the "Born This Way Ball" in 2012.

She said, "Singapore, I love you so much. The last time we were here was for the Born This Way Ball' [...] I remember how special that was. I love it here so much. I always build beautiful memories, memories that stay with me all the time. You are so very special to me. My little monsters in Singapore, thank you for coming to our show."
She also got to learn that "Shallow", the hit song from her movie "A Star is Born", is a crowd favourite in Singapore.
"I made sure to ask... I wanted to know [what] everyone's favourite song in Singapore was — I'm sure this might be controversial — but they told me it was 'Shallow'."
And perhaps she was right, based on the choir of fans that sang along with her:
Promotional concert
Lady Gaga will be performing the "Mayhem Singapura" promotional concert for three more nights on May 19, 21 and 24.
She has also performed at a promotional concert at Coachella in the U.S., Mexico, and to a record-breaking 2.1 million crowd at a free concert in Rio, Brazil.
The series of promotional concerts comes before she embarks on "The Mayhem Ball" tour, which will kick off in the U.S. in July 2025.
