Large crowds turn up for Henry Lau at ION Orchard

Large crowds were seen gathering at ION Orchard on the afternoon of May 29 to meet Canadian singer-songwriter Henry Lau.

Lau, a former Super Junior-M member, is in town for the opening of Lacoste's flagship store at the mall.

According to photos and videos circulating on Xiaohongshu, Lau's supporters were seen gathering at level 1 of the mall, where the opening would be held, hours before the event.

Some also gathered at level 2 to catch a glimpse of the "Trap" singer.

During the event, Lau congratulated Lacoste and greeted his fans, adding that he was "really happy to be back in Singapore".

He also took photos with several fans at the event.

Crowds on level B2

When Mothership visited level B2 of the mall, where Lacoste's store is located, at around 6pm, a swarm of Lau's fans were also seen crowding near the store.

Some of the supporters also lined up along the corridor outside the store, and the queue stretched all the way towards Sephora, which is located at one end of the corridor.

When Lau walked towards the store, many held up their phones, with some holding placards bearing Lau's name.

Before entering the store, Lau also waved at the crowd and high-fived a fan along the corridor, prompting many to scream and cheer.
