Rain on most days in S'pore in 1st half of May 2025
Daily maximum temperatures are still likely to be around 34°C on most days, though.

In the first fortnight of May 2025, thundery showers are expected over parts of Singapore on some afternoons, according to an Apr. 30 media advisory issued by the Meteorological Service Singapore.
On a few of these days, the showers may extend into the evening.
In addition, Sumatra squalls may bring widespread thundery showers and gusty winds in the morning on some days.
The total rainfall for the first half of May 2025 is forecast to be near average over most parts of the island.

Despite the rain, the daily maximum temperatures are likely to be around 34°C on most days.
On some days, the daily maximum temperatures can reach 35°C.
2nd half of April was wet & warm
The second half of April 2025 was wet, with moderate to heavy thundery showers affecting parts of Singapore on most days.
Specifically, on Apr. 20, regional convergence of winds brought heavy thundery showers over many areas in Singapore in the afternoon.
One of the areas affected was Bukit Timah, where the rain also caused flash floods.
Overall, most parts of Singapore recorded above average rainfall in the second fortnight of April 2025, with Bukit Timah registering about 110 per cent above average.
The last two weeks were also warm, with daily maximum temperatures registering above 34°C on 11 days.
The highest daily maximum temperature of 36°C was recorded at Admiralty on Apr. 25.
