Girl, 17, arrested for allegedly slashing another girl, 18, in Woodlands
The alleged victim was conveyed conscious to the hospital.
A 17-year-old female teen was arrested after she allegedly slashed an 18-year-old female teen with a knife at Block 573 Woodlands Drive 16 during the early hours of Apr. 29.
Shin Min Daily News reported that it understands that the two teens had apparently engaged in an argument prior to the incident.
The alleged assailant was arrested at the scene by police officers.
Police reportedly searched for knife
When Shin Min reporters visited the public housing block on Tuesday, a male resident said he spotted a police vehicle at midnight, but was unclear about what happened.
"In the morning, I saw police officers again downstairs. They were searching near the garbage chute," he added.
The scene was also caught on camera by an onlooker who subsequently uploaded the photos to Xiaohongshu.
In the photos, a man dressed in pink could be seen digging through a pile of trash.
A police vehicle could be seen parked behind the man.
Shin Min reported that it was believed that the police officers were searching for the knife used by the alleged assailant.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force confirmed they received a call for assistance at around 12:30am on Apr. 29.
The 17-year-old female teen was arrested for voluntarily causing hurt by a dangerous weapon.
The alleged victim was conveyed conscious to the hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
