Victor Lye & Jasmin Lau spotted with SM Lee's Ang Mo Kio GRC team at Hougang Village
Some likely changes in SM Lee’s team.

Former Aljunied GRC PAP candidate Victor Lye and former senior civil servant Jasmin Lau were spotted at Hougang Village with the Ang Mo Kio GRC team.
The team consisted of Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong as well as Members of Parliament Darryl David, Gan Thiam Poh, Ng Ling Ling, Nadia Ahmad Samdin.
Darryl David and Nadia Samdin were present at the walkabout on the morning of Apr. 13 at Hougang Village.
Three-term MP Gan Thiam Poh and one-term MP Ng Ling Ling were absent.
Instead, Lye and Lau made surprise appearances at the walkabout, flanking SM Lee.
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong confirmed at a press conference on Apr. 12 that he will be running with his current teammates – Zaqy Mohamad, Alex Yam and Hany Soh – in Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC in the upcoming general election.
PM Wong said while his team remained unchanged, "there will be more significant changes elsewhere".
About Victor Lye and Jasmin Lau
Lye stepped down as the chairman of the PAP's Bedok Reservoir-Punggol branch in Aljunied GRC in February 2025, after 13 years.
He was part of the PAP teams that contested Aljunied GRC twice in 2015 and 2020, both unsuccessful.
According to Lye's Facebook, he has been walking the ground in Ang Mo Kio GRC recently – near Buangkok Square and some Hougang estates.
Jasmin Lau, 42, was a deputy secretary at the Ministry of Health before retiring from civil service on Apr. 1. A career civil servant, she spent 19 years in the service and had six postings.Lau was one of eight new faces revealed by PM Wong yesterday (Apr. 12), which means she is likely to be a PAP candidate in this GE.
In an interview with the Public Service Division published in 2024, Lau shared that she is a mother of two and an avid player of competitive netball and basketball.
