PAR to field 14 candidates in 7 constituencies, including Jalan Besar & Tanjong Pagar GRCs
Two potential candidates were introduced as well.

The People's Alliance for Reform (PAR) will field 14 candidates in seven constituencies in the 2025 General Election.
Secretary-general Lim Tean told media on Apr. 18 that they would be fielding candidates in the following constituencies:
- Jalan Besar GRC
- Tanjong Pagar GRC
- Mountbatten SMC
- Potong Pasir SMC
- Queenstown SMC
- Radin Mas SMC
- Yio Chu Kang SMC.
The party will, however, not contest Kebun Baru, Jalan Kayu, and Marymount SMCs after "taking into account the interest of the other parties and their movements," Lim said, according to CNA.
Opposition party Red Dot United has announced plans to contest Jalan Kayu SMC, while the Progress Singapore Party (PSP) has announced plans for Kebun Baru and Marymount SMCs.
The PAR is made up of three opposition parties — Reform Party (RP), Peoples Voice (PV) and Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

57-year-old Mahaboob Baatsha, an oil and gas company director, is PAR's prospective candidate for Queenstown SMC.
Baatsha is the treasurer of RP and has lived in Queenstown for more than 30 years.
He hopes to help those living in rental flats in the neighbourhood find jobs if elected.

This will be 43-year-old Vigneswari Ramachandran's third time running in an election.
In 2020, she was part of the PV team in Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC, and lost with 12.17 per cent of the vote in a three-way fight with the People's Action Party (PAP) and the Singapore Democratic Alliance (SDA).
Vigneswari said that she had walked the ground in Jalan Besar GRC then and also used to live in the constituency.
