Nomination Day is here, and proceedings will take place from 11am to 12pm. This is when parties reveal who will be standing where. One of the more notable surprises the last time was when DPM Heng Swee Keat was revealed to be standing in East Coast GRC instead of Tampines GRC.

1:40pm - SDA's team for Pasir Ris-Changi GRC

Chia Yun Kai, a 32-year-old entrepreneur, will stand in Pasir Ris-Changi as part of SDA's team.

In recent weeks, Chia had introduced the Most Valuable Party (MVP) and expressed interest in competing in East Coast GRC.

12:50pm - Heng Swee Keat won't run in GE2025

DPM Heng Swee Keat, who moved from Tampines to East Coast in 2020, announced on his Facebook page that he will not stand for election in 2025.

"This year, I’ve decided not to run in the upcoming election as I believe now is the right time to make way for a new team of capable individuals who are well-placed to serve Singapore."

Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean was seen at Yusof Ishak Nomination Centre, which covers Pasir Ris-Changi and Punggol GRCs.

Here are the confirmed lineups for two hot spots for this GE.

Punggol GRC

PAP: Gan Kim Yong, Janil Putucheary, Sun Xueling, Yeo Wanling

WP: Harpreet Singh, Alia Mattar, Alexis Dang, Jackson Au

East Coast GRC

12:30pm - Jurong Pioneer

In a surprise move, Marine Parade's anchor minister Tan See Leng has been moved out of the GRC to stand in Chua Chu Kang, filling the gap left by Gan Kim Yong, who has moved eastwards to Punggol.

12:05pm - Yusof Ishak

WP's Jasper Kuan, Nathaniel Koh, Yee Jenn Jong, Sufyan Mikhail Petra, and Paris V Parameswari will be contesting East Coast GRC.

PAP has confirmed their team for Punggol GRC: Gan Kim Yong (formerly Chua Chu Kang GRC), Sun Xueling, Janil Puthucheary and Yeo Wan Ling.

11:55am - Poi Ching

WP has confirmed their Tampines GRC slate: Faisal Manap, Michael Thng, Eileen Chong, Ong Lue Ping, and Jimmy Tan.

The Punggol WP team will feature a team of all new faces, Jackson Au, Siti Alia Mattar, Harpreet Singh, and Alexis Dang.

11:50am - Yusof Ishak

Singapore's Gold Medal-winning Joseph Schooling spotted with potential PAP East Coast GRC candidates at the nomination centre that includes East Coast and Punggol GRCs.

11:45am - Poi Ching

Pritam Singh, Sylvia Lim, Gerald Giam, Fadli Fawzi and Kenneth Tiong will be running in Aljunied GRC.

This means Faisal Manap will not be part of the Aljunied slate.

11:40am - Bendemeer Primary

Darryl Lo, independent candidate, is standing for election in Radin Mas SMC.

11:35am - Jurong Pioneer GRC

Manpower Minister Tan See Leng has reportedly been spotted at Jurong Pioneer, the nomination centre for Chua Chu Kang GRC is at.

Could he be replacing Gan Kim Yong?

11:30am - Bendemeer Primary

PAP's full team for Tanjong Pagar GRC has been confirmed.

They are Minister Chan Chun Sing, Alvin Tan, Rachel Ong, Joan Pereira and new face Foo Cexiang.

11:25am - Yusof Ishak Secondary

DPM Gan Kim Yong was spotted at Yusof Ishak Secondary School, Nomination Centres for East Coast, Pasir Ris-Changi, Punggol, and Sengkang GRCs.

He was MP for Chua Chu Kang GRC.

WP Chief Pritam Singh has arrived at the Nomination Centre covering Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC.

When asked if his presence at Poi Ching School is any indication of him retaining his seat at Aljunied, Pritam said "You can take my presence here as I'm entering Poi Ching School."

10:50am - Who will be the new face in PAP's Tanjong Pagar GRC team?

With Minister Indranee Rajah heading east to helm PAP’s Pasir Ris-Changi GRC team as the anchor minister, there is one vacancy in Tanjong Pagar GRC.

It is expected that Senior Parliamentary Secretary Eric Chua will contest in the new Queenstown SMC, while Melvin Yong will contest in Radin Mas SMC.

Over the past few weeks, Education Minister Chan Chun Sing, Minister of State Alvin Tan, MPs Joan Pereira, Rachel Ong are seen in the Tanjong Pagar GRC vicinity.

Who will the new face be? There are two possible candidates - Foo Cexiang and Goh Pei Ming.

10:45am - Deyi Secondary

Andre Low has been spotted at Deyi Secondary, which is the nomination center for Jalan Kayu.

PAP's Foo Cexiang, who had been seen walking the ground in Punggol, is on his way to Bendemeer Primary School, the Nomination Centre that covers Tanjong Pagar GRC.

10:30am - Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean leading the PAP's Punggol GRC team?

SM Teo, SMS Janil Puthucheary, MOS Sun Xueling and MP Yeo Wan Ling were seen at a gathering point before heading to the nomination centre at Yusof Ishak Secondary School.

Teo has earlier announced that he would not contest in his old seat in Pasir Ris-Changi GRC.

While he was stepping down as MP for Pasir Ris, Teo said he would be there to support PM Wong and his 4G team and "remain available to contribute to the team in whenever and in whatever way PM Lawrence Wong feels I can best serve".

When asked if he was moving to Punggol GRC, SM Teo said everything will be clear in two days, which is nomination day.

10:25am - Jurong Pioneer Junior College

SDP's team for Marsiling-Yew Tee has arrived, including Gigene Wong and Ariffin Sha.

10:20am - Deputy Prime Minister Heng & Minister Edwin Tong co-leading the East Coast team?

DPM Heng has turned up with Minister Edwin Tong, Senior Minister of State Tan Kiat How, veteran MP Jessica Tan and new faces Hazlina Abdul Halim, as well as Dinesh Vasu Dash.

This means that one of the six mentioned will not be running in the 5-member ward. It remains to be seen whether DPM Heng or perhaps a veteran MP like Jessica Tan will retire.

PAP new face Goh Pei Ming was seen with the East Coast GRC team previously.

This means that there is a possibility that Goh will be redeployed to another GRC that is not announced - Tanjong Pagar GRC and Punggol GRC.

10:15am - Yusof Ishak Secondary and Kong Hwa School

SDA's Desmond Lim has arrived at the Nomination Centre for Pasir Ris-Changi GRC.

Meanwhile, PAR's Lim Tean was seen at the Nomination Centre for Potong Pasir SMC.

PAP's announced candidate for Potong Pasir SMC, Alex Yeo has arrived. Yeo replaced longtime PAP stalwart Sitoh Yih Pin.

10:05am - Kong Hwa School

PAP's Jalan Besar team, including Minister Josephine Teo, Denise Phua, and new face Shawn Loh are on their way to the Nomination Centre.

09:55 - PAP Punggol West branch

DPM Heng Swee Keat has been seen with other prospective PAP candidates for East Coast GRC such as Minister Edwin Tong and Hazlina Abdul Halim.

Joseph Schooling, Singapore's only gold medal Olympian, was also spotted with them.

09:50am - Nan Hua High School

PSP Chairman Tan Cheng Bock has arrived at Nan Hua High, where he is expected to lead the PSP team in West Coast-Jurong West GRC in what could be his last election campaign.

09:45am - Deyi Secondary School

Jasmin Lau's parents were spotted at Deyi Secondary, where Lau is expected to be nominated as a candidate for Ang Mo Kio GRC.

Speaking to Mothership, her parents said:

"We're very happy that Jasmin can take part in this year's election. To her, this is one of the challenges in life. I hope her seniors can help her and the residents here would welcome her so that she can help them with their needs."

So what should we look out for, and in which direction?

Most of the PAP slate has been revealed, with a few exceptions. East Coast GRC, Punggol GRC, Tanjong Pagar GRC, Radin Mas SMC, and Queenstown SMC.

Of those left, two are expected to see a fierce fight. East Coast GRC and Punggol GRC. Their presumptive challengers in those two areas, WP, has also kept mum on which of their candidates will be contesting these two areas.

Both these GRCs will see candidates showing up to Yusof Ishak Secondary School.
