Newborn baby abandoned in box outside house in M'sia
The baby was estimated to be 36 weeks old.

A newborn baby was found in a box left outside a house in Malaysia on Apr. 23.
According to the New Straits Times (NST), the baby girl was left with a note on the box that read: "There is my child in this box. Please take care of my baby. May your sustenance be blessed."
The baby is estimated to be 36 weeks old.
NST reported that a witness had seen a white motorcycle circling the house at around 5:40am.
The motorcycle then left.
At around 6:10, as the witness was heading to work, the witness noticed the box in front of the door. When he looked into the box, he discovered the baby wrapped in a towel along with one lime, said NST.
The baby was taken to the hospital for further care, and a blood sample was requested for a paternity test, the police added.
"Police are currently working to trace the baby's mother, and the case is under investigation for child abandonment."
