Rallies are back.

Election rallies are coming back this GE2025 and they may be held from Apr. 24 to May 1, between 10am and 1pm or 7pm and 10pm at all election meeting sites.
The only exception are lunch-time election rallies slated for 12pm to 3pm.
The police released the full list of rally sites on Apr. 23 after Nomination Day proceedings concluded:
Once an election rally is approved by the authorities, the details of the event will be announced one day before, after the permit application closes.
The time slots for school sites on weekdays is limited to 7pm to 10pm only.
The timeslot, 10am to 1pm, for school sites will be available on weekends and public holidays.
Block balloting
The Police Elections Permit Office (PEPO) will implement "block balloting" for contested electoral divisions during the final nights of the campaigning period.
As the final nights of the campaigning period tend to be more popular, the police said, the adoption of block balloting will allow political parties and candidates reasonable opportunities to hold an election rally near Polling Day on May 3.
For each electoral division, the number of days set aside for block balloting is dependent on the number of parties contesting in that electoral division.
For lunch-time election rally sites, block balloting will take place on the last three working days before Cooling-off Day.
The respective electoral divisions where block balloting will be implemented can be found here:
Gathering sites
Between the closing of the polls at 8pm on May 3 and until 30 minutes after the announcement of the last electoral result of the 2025 General Election, electoral candidates, their supporters, and members of the public may gather at approved assembly centres to await the announcement of the election results.
