In an Instagram post on Mar. 29, Haidilao shared about the mysterious pink soup base:
While it may look like a dessert, Haidilao assured that the "pink, pretty, and full of petals" dish is, in fact, just a hotpot soup base.
Those who dare to try the soup base can also get a S$10 dining voucher if they post a photo on either Xiaohongshu, Instagram or TikTok with the hashtags #PinkSoupPrank and #HaidilaoAprilFools.
