SDP's Chee Soon Juan says number of foreigners S'pore is 'letting in' is 'unsustainable'
Chee also called PAP's immigration policy "irrational" and "irresponsible".

During an SDP rally on Apr. 25 at Bukit Panjang SMC, SDP chief Chee Soon Juan talked about the inflow of foreigners in Singapore.
Chee said that while SDP was not saying Singapore should seek "zero immigration", the "sheer volume" of foreigners being "let into" Singapore was "hurting this country" and that it was "unsustainable".
Chee also said Prime Minister Lawrence Wong had to give a clear plan as to the "optimal population size for Singapore", going on to criticise PM Wong's "motherhood statements" on this issue.
He also said that SDP was not "anti-foreigner", but that immigration was "an existential problem" in Singapore.
Chee also called PAP's immigration policy "irrational" and "irresponsible.
He also responded to Health Minister Ong Ye Kung's point that he "abandoned" Bukit Batok.
Chee said Ong should instead "ask himself why he abandoned his Aljunied family".
