Woman, 37, arrested after alleged stabbing incident at People's Park Complex, 2 men, aged 30 & 41, sent to hospital

An alleged stabbing incident occurred at one of the cooked food stalls outside People's Park Complex in Chinatown on Mar. 19 at about 8:45pm, resulting in two shop assistants being sent to hospital, Lianhe Zaobao reported.

In response to Mothership's queries, the police said they received a call for assistance on Wednesday night at 1 Park Road.

Two men, aged 30 and 41, were conveyed conscious to the hospital.

Another 42-year-old man was assessed by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) for minor injuries but refused conveyance to the hospital.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon.

A chopper was seized as a case exhibit.

Police investigations are ongoing.

According to 8world, there was blood and paper towels at the scene, photos showed.

A fight appeared to have occurred on the ground floor, which was cordoned off.

Plastic bags, plastic lids, and cardboard carton boxes were strewn on the ground.

The cause of the incident is unknown at the moment.

Police were seen removing two knives from the scene, 8world added.
