PAP new face Chua Wei Shan, who has been tipped to contest in Chua Chu Kang GRC, was spotted alongside constituency MPs Gan Kim Yong and Low Yen Ling again.

This time, they appeared at a CDC arts event at SAFRA Choa Chu Kang.

The ArtsEverywhere@CDC event was organised by the National Arts Council (NAC), the five Community Development Councils (CDCs) and People’s Association (PA).

Previously on Mar. 9, she was spotted with Gan and Low at the launch of a free food initiative for low-income residents.

Chua is the organising secretary of the Young PAP, and the executive director of BX Creatives, a product design, manufacturing and sourcing company.

She's been a volunteer at Marine Parade for a while now, and was seen at a recent Ramadan event at MacPherson, along with namesake Tin Pei Ling and other Marine Parade GRC members, Tan See Leng, Seah Kian Peng, and Fahmi Aliman.

Also present: Yeo Wan Ling

SMU Law professor Eugene Tan was quoted by The Straits Times as saying that with the release of the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee’s report, parties have to decide where they want field their candidates.

“The need for the new faces to walk and work the ground intensively is now, and imperative as we are probably mere weeks from the GE.”

ArtsEverywhere@CDC

DPM Gan announced an expanded programme line-up for the ArtsEverywhere@CDC program during his opening address at the event.

"I hope that these ArtsEverywhere@CDC events will give you an opportunity to connect with your neighbours, and spend quality time with your friends and family," he said.
