S'pore Mint launches Merlion blind box, heritage medallions as part of SG60 commemorative collection
Special collection.
As part of the SG celebration, the Singapore Mint is launching a commemorative collection that features Singapore neighbourhoods and iconic symbols.
The collection will be released in phases throughout 2025.
The Singapore Mint will also showcase its collection at the Singapore International Coin Fair, which will be held from March 21 to 23 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
Products will be available online and at the Singapore Mint stores at Coin Gallery, Chinatown Point and Suntec City Mall.
Iconic neighbourhoods
The "Jalan Jalan Through Heritage Districts of Singapore" collection will feature silver medallions and gold-plated coloured bookmarks of five heritage districts:
- Changi
- Jurong
- Tiong Bahru
- Toa Payoh
- Queenstown
Each 1 oz 999 fine silver medallion is limited to 2,000 pieces per design.
The retail price of a gold-plated coloured bookmark is S$15 each, while the silver proof medallion will cost about S$130 each.

The medallions and bookmarks for Changi, Jurong, Tiong Bahru, and Toa Payoh will be available in March 2025, while the medallions and bookmarks for Queenstown will be released in September 2025.
Merlion medallion
For the collectors, there is a limited number of Dazzling Merlion 1 oz 999 silver proof ingots.
The ingot will feature a multifaceted Merlion with an exclusive "SG60" serial prefix.
There are only 1,000 pieces and cost S$130 each.

Blind boxes
Raffles Mint Collectibles has partnered with Mr Merlion & Friends to create a Mr Merlion Mystery Medallion Blind Box.
Each blind box costs S$16.90 and has three surprise tiers: four regular silver designs, two rare rose gold designs, and one ultra-rare 24k gold-plated design.
The medallions also double up as a keychain.
The blind box will be available from April 2025.
Kebaya
The Singapore Mint will offer a seven-piece Kebaya magnet display set to honour Singapore's first multinational Unesco inscription "Kebaya: Knowledge, Skills, Traditions, and Practices".
Each set will showcase seven distinct Kebaya styles with interchangeable blouses and skirts.
Each set is priced at S$80 and will be available from May 2025.
