Actor Shaun Chen's father dies following hit-and-run in M'sia
The actor has called for the driver to step forward and apologise.

The father of Shaun Chen has passed away following a hit-and-run accident in Malaysia.
The 46-year-old actor put up a video on Instagram in which he spoke about the incident, and also shared video footage of the moment.
He wrote, "HIT AND RUN and kill my father is unacceptable!"

Chen calls for hit-and-run driver to step forward
Speaking in Mandarin, Chen began by clarifying that he was safe in Thailand, along with his family, even though they had experienced the recent earthquake on Mar. 28.
Chen then added that on the same day, at about 10:35am, his father had been riding home in Malaysia on a motorcycle, when he was hit by a car.
Footage of the accident, taken from the perspective of another vehicle, showed his father falling onto the ground as a result of the collision, with the car continuing to drive away.
Chen said his father died afterwards.
The actor then called for the driver of the car to step forward and said he "would not take revenge".
Chen also expressed "Selamat Hari Raya", then added in English that he hoped the driver would apologise to his father.
"He (my father) does not know you. I don't know why you did that to him," Chen said.
"I just want you to say sorry," he added.
Many local actors and actresses have since responded to Chen's post by expressing their condolences.
