Woman, 57, found dead in HDB flat after she didn't collect free meals for days
Police do not suspect foul play.

The police told Mothership that on Mar. 12 at around 10:25am, they received a call for assistance at an HDB flat.
A 57-year-old woman was found lying motionless in a flat and pronounced dead at the scene.
A domestic helper staying on the same floor told Shin Min Daily News (Shin Min) that she had not seen the deceased leave her flat for about a week.
According to the helper, the deceased kept to herself and rarely went out on weekdays.
The helper said she did not realise the woman had passed away until policemen showed up at the scene on Mar. 12.
Did not collect free meal for days
According to Shin Min, the deceased had been receiving free meals from the Thye Hua Kwan charity on a daily basis.
The charity would also arrange for a vehicle to ferry her to and from hospital appointments.
However, from Mar. 7, five days before her body was found, the woman stopped answering her door to receive her free meals.
As the woman's social worker was also unable to contact her, the worker subsequently knocked on her door on Mar. 12.
When no one answered the door, the social worker realised something was amiss and called the police.
Police told Mothership that based on preliminary investigations, they do not suspect foul play.
