Female driver, 30, arrested after Bartley accident that sent m'cyclist, 70, to hospital
Police investigations are ongoing.
A 70-year-old motorcyclist was sent to hospital after an accident with a car at a Bartley junction on the afternoon of Mar. 15.
The 30-year-old car driver was arrested for careless driving.
Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership that on Mar. 15 at about 4:40pm, they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Bartley Road East and Airport Road.
The aftermath
Pictures of the accident scene were shared to the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page the next day.
They showed a white Hyundai sedan that had stopped in a yellow box at the junction.

Members of the public and paramedics were seen attending to the fallen rider.

The post's caption claimed that the Hyundai's female driver had failed to conform to the red light signal, causing the accident.
Driver, 30, arrested
Police told Mothership that a 70-year-old male motorcyclist was conveyed unconscious to the hospital after an accident involving a car and motorcycle.
SCDF said he was sent to Changi General Hospital.
Police said the 30-year-old female car driver was arrested for careless driving without due care and attention causing hurt.
Police investigations are ongoing.
