She's a 20-year-old community cat.

With a gentle and sweet demeanour, she's now looking for a home where she can live out the rest of her life.

Rescued from the streets

Her feeder, Antony Ng, told Mothership that he found Aurora "lying down on the pavement incapacitated" about a year ago.

The senior cat had been roaming the streets of Bukit Timah for years.

With age, she's slowed down and has lost most of her sight in one eye.

Unfortunately, this caused her to nearly get hit by passing cars on multiple occasions.

Worried for her safety, Ng decided to rescue her and board her in a cat lodge.

But she was soon diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.

Now, she needs to be on a special diet and have subcutaneous fluids administered thrice a week.

Forever home

Due to the amount of medical care she now requires, Ng hopes to find Aurora a home for her to live out her golden years.

"I just hope she can have one final, proper home before her time is up," he said.

Ng also offered to cover Aurora's medical expenses, if required.

She is negative for both Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), sterilised, and "very friendly" to humans (but isn't particularly keen on other cats).

If you are interested in giving Aurora a forever home, you can reach out to Ng via his adoption Facebook post here.
