The body of a 47-year-old man was found and retrieved along the shoreline of Pasir Ris Park.
This was after a call for assistance at 8:30am on Mar. 22, 2025, said the Singapore Police Force.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No foul play is suspected and investigations are ongoing.
Washed up by the waves
In a Mar. 22 post on Reddit, a user said they had chanced upon the search that morning.
The police had cordoned off the area on the beach, which was "not very accessible".
"Eventually we realised there was a dead body," the user said. "It looked like he got washed up by the waves...He was naked."
