Popular Japanese shave ice chain Sakanoue Café is opening its first outlet in Singapore inside Drips Bakery Cafe at Tiong Bahru.
The outlet will open to the public on Apr. 4.
Previously, the chain had two pop-ups in Singapore which managed to gather hour-long queues.
Popular shaved ice
Sakanoue Cafe's shaved ice, also known as kakigori in Japanese, is made using premium pure Kuramoto Ice from Kanazawa, Japan.
Some of the flavours available include:
- Saknoue's signature strawberry shortcake
- Pistachio chocolate
- Lemon mascarpone
The outlet will also have a flavour exclusive to Singapore called the Signature Blackforest Kakigori.
