BMW loses control & crashes into Jalan Kayu restaurant, 1 person sent to hospital
Hope the diner is OK.
In an attempt to overtake while driving along Jalan Kayu, a BMW driver collided into another car, lost control, and then crashed into the side of a restaurant.
One of its wheels apparently was dislodged in the impact and hit a diner, according to Shin Min Daily News.
In a series of videos posted to SG Follows All's Telegram page, the car was seen hurtling into the side of the road.
A man in a white T-shirt was later observed lying on the floor, apparently injured.

Trail of destruction
The incident took place on the morning of Mar. 29 along Jalan Kayu.
According to Shin Min, the BMW driver had been trying to overtake while driving along Jalan Kayu towards Sengkang West Avenue.
But he collided with a right-turning vehicle ahead of it, lost control, and was sent careening into the side of the restaurant.
One of the car's tires was dislodged in the incident, and hit a man dining there.

It also left a trail of destruction in its wake.
Bicycles parked at the restaurant were sent flying, and a lamp post was toppled by the impact.

A woman could also be heard sobbing in the background.
Investigations ongoing
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed that they had been alerted to the accident.
It involved two cars along Jalan Kayu.
A 55-year-old man was conveyed conscious to Sengkang General Hospital, SCDF said.
Another man, a 52-year-old car driver, sustained minor injuries but refused to be taken to hospital.
He is currently assisting with police investigations.
