Bad sportsmanship
The incident occurred after Tanjong Pagar United had just beaten Albirex Niigata 3-2.
In footage shared with Mothership, the players from both teams were seen shaking hands in a display of sportsmanship at the end of the match.
However, Tanjong Pagar United player number 65 appeared to shake the Albirex Niigata player's hand before punching him in the face.
The field erupted into chaos as a result, with both teams separating the two players.
